Gary Barbera and Dodge Brand President, Reid Bigland, Appear
The 2012 New York International Auto Show proved to be a special event for Gary Barbera, owner and operator of Barbera’s Autoland and the world famous Barbera’s on the Boulevard in Philadelphia. Mr. Barbera, who has been an auto dealer and philanthropist in the city and its surrounding area for the last three decades, made his debut at the auto show. During what was billed as “An Evening of Fun and Magic,” Gary Barbera helped raise funds for the Children’s Hospital.
In addition to making a debut at the auto show, Mr. Barbera was joined by Dodge president Reid Bigland alongside the brand new Dodge Dart at its showcase. After introducing the latest vehicles and upgrades for the existing lineup of Dodge cars, Mr. Bigland expressed his belief in passion and determination as essential ingredients for success. Mr. Barbera was also excited about the new line of Dodge vehicles entering the market, noting that they have what it takes to make a comeback and be significant in their class.
Gary Barbera was particularly impressed by the Dodge Dart, and he anticipates it will have a lasting positive impact on drivers looking for a Chrysler vehicle in Philadelphia and surrounding communities. Some of the engine options for the Dart include a Tigershark 160-horsepower setup, as well as a 160-horsepower turbocharged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. In addition to selling a wide range of new and pre-owned vehicles at his dealerships, Gary Barbera dedicates his time and energy to furthering important charity work and public initiatives.
